All we saw – police arrested Spanish guy and pretty girl, who was driving very nice convertible car, guns were drawn. It happened on May,23 on rt.422 between Collegeville and Pottstown, at about 5 pm.

Instead of taking a bus, we decided to take a walk through side streets of Bangkok. I was almost ready to start looking for the stick to protect ourselves from these stray dogs, but local kids deal with them quite well.

Very impressive Shopping Mall in Bangkok. Mall in downtown was closed because of civil unrest (April 2010), and we found this one on a quite distance from downtown but were not disappointed after all.

Yesterday was an opening of Art Exhibit at ‘The Farmhouse’ in Emmaus, PA by the artist Ann Elizabeth Schlegel. Her goal “Painting Each Day” is very encouraging.

Old Fishermen on a Boat

It was in Hoi An, small place on a ocean that is located in the middle of Vietnam. Hot day, empty river. He probably was hiding somewhere in a shade of bridge as I did not see him until our group approached the water. He was paddling pretty fast not to loose his chance to make his modeling money – yes, he definitely was working as a model for occasional tourists, and – I should admit – he did it very well.

He started posing from the distance, very confident that he will grab all our attention, and only after that he got close for our convenience to take his portrait shots and to collect the money. Keep in mind – our Vietnamese was probably better then his English, he did not even try to talk to us, just smiled.
